Fluent-Ansys data transfer

Default Fluent-Ansys data transfer

I would like to transfer Fluent surface static pressure data to Ansys under windows platform. Does someone have any experience about this transfer?

Hi

Go to

write>profiles> then select your surface [inlet] then select your variable [static pressure] then click on write then select profile name [yourfilename]

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your massage. Is it possible for Ansys to read that profile. Generally, Ansys wants result file(rfl).

Hi

this file has a format Binary that is readable in whatever in whatever code. Even if you cannot read it, you can open the file and delete the head string that said something like "{y-velocity}" and then delete "{" at the begining and the end of the numbers.
