Variable mass flow rate

Hi there, I'm running a 2D nozzle model. I was wandering if there is any way to have a variable mass flow rate inlet. I have a static pressure outlet as the other boundary condition.

Re: Variable mass flow rate

Hi. I think it's preety much the same as variable velocity at inlet. You just turn it on at mass flow inlet...this is form fluent documentation...

#include "udf.h"

DEFINE_PROFILE(unsteady_velocity, thread, position)

{ face_t f; real t = CURRENT_TIME;

begin_f_loop(f, thread)

{

F_PROFILE(f, thread, position) = 20. + 5.0*sin(10.*t);

} end_f_loop(f, thread) }
