Best leading edge for a Flat plate
Hello, its very easy to do a cfd model (or theoretical calculation) of a flat plate but whenever you need to build it and do real wind tunnel tests to validate your data, it can be a real pain in the a$$.
You see, the trouble is with the leading edge. Since I have to build it, there has to be a real thickness to hold my pressure taps and support and the flow has to land softly on the surface.
Ok, this is where fluent can be a great tool: Its going to let me try different configurations until I find the right one, the problem is that I have tried various wedge angles but with no success.
Surely someone from this community has some tip for me, I would be most grateful.
