Default Porous jump and convergence

I am having trouble getting my solution to converge when the outlet is preceded by a porous jump.

I have tried to increase the pressure jump slowly, but when the pressure loss is approx. 5Pa or higher, the convergence is gone. The velocity and conservation is way off.

Are there any "tricks" I should be aware of?

Cheers Christian
