Hi all; I want to compile my udf with the compile option. My "libudf" directory is a subdirectory of "ntx86" directory. But during the compilation, I resived an error:

Opening library udflib... Error: open_udf_library: The system cannot find the path specified.

Error Object: ()

Please help me.

The process I follow is: 1) open fluent 2) define>user-defind>functions>interpreted... 3) write the path of udf (c:\work\myudf.c) 4) OK 5) read case or mesh On my pc, it works well. good luck

I have recently had problems changing the way I compile my UDF's. The procedure is quite different for different versions of fluent. Which version are you using, what platform is it on (I guess it is NT) and are you building the directory structure manually or through the fluent GUI?

I believe you my have not created a directory for your udf library, eg. libudf, in your working directory. The 6.1 manual does not tell you to do this although I believe it is necessary.
