Default how to do with the DPM problem?

Hello to all,

When I use DPM to calculate the flow field in a water tank, I got a problem, in the console window, it was always worned that: the time step reduced in xxxx cells in zone 2 or temperature limited to 5000 in xxxxcells in zone 2.

In my model coupled was used instead of segregated, and when i changed the model from steady to unsteady, and then reduced the time step to 0.0001, the problem mentioned above could be avoided.

i know that in the control/limit panel the parameters can be changed, but in my model the calculating temperature is room temperature, much less than 5000k.

Please tell me how to do with that problem when i use steady state to calculate?

Thanks in advance, any help will be appreciated!

Hello,

I have faced similar problem, but in Eulerian model. temperature range goes from 1 K to 5000K which is not realistic. Can anybody suggests, why the behavior is so?

Again in DPM for segregated solver with steady formulation I got the same error as mentioned by You. ( after each ijection).

Thank You.

Mahesh
