Atmospheric Boundary Layer
I am trying to simulate the "Atmospheric Boundary Layer" and solve for temperatur including gravitation, bouyancy and the ideal gas law.
The temperature is decreasing with 1 degrees/100 m from ground.
The pressure is decreasing with 100 Pa/8 m from ground.
I have problems in getting the correct profiles with height in Fluent for pressure and density.
Has anyone done this in Fluent?

don't forget to account for the fact that the pressure field solved for in fluent (ps') is really defined by ps' = ps - rho_0*g*z
