Sir:

I am to analyse a hot air generator, which is nothing but a horizontal Diesel fired hot air generator system, where in the fuel is (gases) burned in the combustion chamber and the latter on the same is fed to the shell and tube type heat exchanger in the same equipment.

Air enters from the top in tangential manner in the heat exchanger and gets heated by passing over the top from the combustion chamber in the swirl manner, guided by radial swirl provided on the combustion chamber and then enters the secon section i.e. shell and tubes.

i have already carreid out the experimants and obtained the temperature and pressure at the salient points. now i want to anlyse the same using some CFD software. i have also prepared the geomatry for the same and imported in the GAMBIT in the STEP format.

cany further guide me how to proceed for the mesh.

Hope that is suffice. request you to feel free to ask any furthe clearification / information regarding the same
