hi, is there anyone who has encoutered strange problems when using UDF of Fluent6.18? It seems the UDFs sometimes works well, and however, sometimes they make nothings.

Hi,
I have worked with UDF in fluent 6.1.15 and 6.1.18. Regarding to the interpreted UDF, it's simply to handle with it. As for compiled UDF, it's much more complicated. But if you would install the necessary compiler for the correspondent platform, built all the directories and copied the makefile and user-defined files, everything would be ok, unless your c source code has been somehow wrongly written. I hope it's helpful to you! Emma |
