Can anyone please explain the strategy to be followed while meshing for dynamic mesh analysis. I have seen the grid and it requires grid interfaces overlapping each other. How can we define it in the meshing software. Is there no connection between both interfaces.

Thanks and Regards, Nikhil

It depends merely on your problem.

Sliding interfaces are not necesseraly required but can be used by using Tgrid.

The UG gives also good examples to start with.
