Symmetry boundary condition
Hello all,

This is a question about the symmetry boundary condition.

I have 4 mass inlets and 1 outlet as bondary conditions in my problem. But after employing a symmetry BC which will reduce the geometry, I have 1 mass inlet and one-fourth of the outlet.

When I check for mass flow rates(report-->fluxes) for this mass inlet and outlet, the values I get, will it be for that specific mass inlet or does it takes into account all the mass inlets.(which would be present without the symmetry walls)

Thanks and Regards, Shankar.

Re: Symmetry boundary condition
It should refer to the specific mass inlet.

However there is a tutorial case which shows the symmetry BC use.
