Hi all,

When I check my grid in fluent it tells me the grid is fine but when i smooth/swap the grid a non-positive volume warning comes up.

I am using a mix of structured and unstructured cells.

How I found this is, when I tried to adapt my grid using solution adaption - the non-positive volume warning comes up no matter what values i use.

Can anyone give me advice on this matter?

Thanx, Eric

hello eric, i used to be in your problem where the warning non-positive volume are always exist when i check grid, smooth and swap. After all, what i am doing is, i redo meshing the drawing again in Gambit, but this time, i change the meshing size. Pls make sure that your boundary condition is correct.this kind of thing, for the beginner is common.good luck
