I have a diffusion-limited case for surface reaction. So the reactant at surface is almost zero, and reaction rate is limited by the diffusion from bulk face, which is achieved by using a high pre-exponent factor value (1e15). The simulation shows that the gas products formed at solid surface diffused back into gas phase by plotting the contour of species, but when plotting x-y reaction rate on the surface, the rate is zero, any comments?

Have you tried looking at countours and/or ticking the node option?? I mean contours of the surface.
It may be a bug. The reaction rate will have to be non-zero. Greg |
