Re: Error: GENERAL-CAR-CDR: invalid argument

Somewhere in your input a field is screwed up. Could for example happen if you read in boundary conditions from a previous Fluent version. It doesn't necessarily affect your case, but check each and every input item very carefully to see all is right. In that case you should be fine.

Re: Error: GENERAL-CAR-CDR: invalid argument

It's not ok. If you continue, FLUENT doesn't consider the data you inserted and keeps the default values.

I obtained the same error if I set default settings in the Solve/Control/Solution panel, because pushing the Default button, in Fluent 6.0, the velocity coupling algorithm field is left blank. Pushing ok, FLUENT lost all my settings and used defaults.
