Default aeroengine intake at altitude

In a 2d case of an aeroengine intake at altitude, with given pressure and temperature boundary conditions, Fluent predicts the density at altitude too low. I am using ideal gas with default air values of Cp etc. Does anyone know how to model altitude conditions correctly? Thanks, Friederike
