Hi guys,
I'm not entirely new to Fluent but I have been working on it and I faced some problems.


How can I enable the buoyancy for a case?
I created a closed domain which represent a resrvoir of fluid and I tried to enable buoyancy to see the effects of natural convection on the temperatur distribution but with no success. Firstly, I enabled gravity in operating conditions and set the acceleration in the y-direction to -9.81. Secondly, I used Boussinesq Model for determing the density of the fluid which is water.
Conclusion, I can't see any variation in temperature between the bottom and the surface of the reservoir.

What I am doing wrong?

what thermal boundary conditions have you define?

I set the bottom wall to a temperature of 280K then for the top wall I tried 300k then heat flux of 1000,2000,3000 all gave same result
