Hi all,
I want to know how to apply a temperature at a wall. The wall temperature changes as the flow proceeds down stream, yet fluent will only let me apply a constant wall temperature. By applying a constant temperature along the wall am i effecting the heat transfer rate of the flow? Is there a way of applying a wall temperature so that it changes with the flow, i.e. a temperature dependent wall condition? Regards, Eric |

Eric,
You should be able to define a UDF in FLUENT and once it is defined, FLUENT will automatically bring the UDF name as part of the set Temperature Menu. If you don't define anything, you will only see Constant but once you have a UDF, you will see the name listed also. One of the UDF tutorials will help you define this. Good luck. Prabu |
