Problem in generating geometry
Hi all,
Can anybody help me out in modifying the imported ProE geometry. I have a curved FACE and I want to create a EDGE between two vertices on the curved face in such a way so that the edge remains all ALONG the face. Can anybody help me out how to do the same. Thanks in advance for the advice and sugestions. Gaurav |

Re: Problem in generating geometry
Try create a straight line connecting the two vertices and then project the line the the curved surface.
If you have problem in projection, try copy the two vertices off the surface and use the two new vertices to create a line and the project it. Hope this helps. |

Re: Problem in generating geometry
Hi, Thanks for the response John. I created the STRAIGHT edge from the vertices. But I am not sure how to PROJECT it on face. Can you please tell me what do u mean by Projecting the edge on face(curved surface). I tried to align it along the face. But I dont know how to do that. It will be great if you can guide me how to do the same.
Thanks and Regards, Gaurav |
