Hi,
I am trying to find my grid independent solution using grid adaptation. I use velocity gradient adaptation and I initially used 30,000 terahedral cells. I adapted my grid to 70,000 cells. Finally I found my grid independent solution at 100,000 cells. Since I knew that my solution was grid independent at 100,000 cells i ran a grid refinement from 30,000 to 100,000 cells. Surprisingly I found my results to be low as compared to the previously adapted 10,000 cells grid( previous grid was adapted in steps 30000 t0 70000, 70000 to 10000). Am I doing any mistake here? Even the results I want are based on velocity gradients. I would be happy if you can give me some suggestions on this. |
