Hi! We are currently looking into new machines as processing time is taking too long as most of the work we do involves large multiphase simulations. Is anybody using HP workstation and which operating systems. If you are having some other suggestion(like Sun,IBM Silicon-graphics) which one is better for running fluent and what specification you will recommend.

Regards

Sau

Build or buy yourself a bunch of PCs with Linux, set them up in a Beowulf cluster, and run FLUENT in multiprocessor mode. You can't beat the price to performance ratio.
