Hi,
When i open my mesh file, from gambit, in fluent for the first time i get the following error message Error: access: unbound variable Error Object: phase-domain? What does this mean and will it affect the results? The grid check is fine. Regards Eric |

hi,
was your problem finally solved? you said earlier: It has to do with how you name your boundaries. For example they should be named inlet_1 or inlet-1 and not inlet 1. A character space causes the problem. did it work or not? let us know David |

Hi David,
Yes it did. I had an inlet named "inlet 1", and when i originally opened the file in fluent i got the error message. I then went back into gambit and changed the name to "inlet_1" and the error message dissappeared. A simple error which probably has no effect on the simulation Eric |
