Hi everybody.

I am new here, so let me please start this very first post. I am working on the two-way fluid-structure interaction implementation to human voice production. Vocal folds (structure, ANSYS Mechanical) are coupled with the vocal tract cavity (fluid flow, ANSYS Fluent) by the System coupling module in ANSYS Workbench.

Now I am trying to use different time step for the structure and the flow.
My idea is that, I will use e.g. 1e-5 s timestep for the flow and 1e-4 s timestep for the structure. So, the vocal folds will deform once after nine steps of the flow solution.

Do you know is that possible? Could you, please, give me some advice how to do this? Thank you for your responses!
