uncoupled discrete phase calculations
In fluent, if i am solving a two phase steady flow and if I am using uncoupled discrete and continuous phases, then after solving the continuous phase I am solving discrete phase. If the discrete phase evaporates, since the un-coupled approach is used, the source term of the species is not updated and hence I will be never able to see the distribution of the vapour generated from evaporation of the droplets . Is this true ? Is it necessary that coupled approach be used for this situation ?
