Change Boundary type?

hi everyone,

Is it possible to change the boundary type of a zone at some time in an unsteady calculation without interrupting the calculation?

thanks

I don't think it's possible to do that.

I hate to dissagree, but I think it is *possible*, but will be *very* difficult. I think that you will have to get into the file that contains the grid information and alter it. There is more info here.

I apologize for my answer. I didn't know that.

Anyway I was thinking to a practical way to do so, without heavy "manual operations".

Re: Change Boundary type?

we know that before starting of equations system solution, according to B.C type some variable changed in fixed value and even some of cell variable eliminated.then i think it is imposible to change B.C type when solution of equations is curent.

I think so, we can not change the boundary type when iterating
