Warning for multiphase flow

Hi,

I am simulating the multiphase flow with Fluent.

After Fluent read the grid, I received the following message:

Warning: materials in neighbor cell threads (2 and 1) of interior zone 5 are of different types (new_material and aluminum). This problem MUST be fixed before solving!

How do I fix this problem?

Many thanks,

Hp

Re: Warning for multiphase flow

Does this happens when you read the msh file, or when you open a case file after calculation?

How do you define materials?

Hi :)

Re: Warning for multiphase flow

************************************************* sure you have two different types of basic material

fluid and solid....this can only be done by setting a wall(gambit) and set it to "coupled" in Boundary panel (Fluent)...all convectional parameters f.e heat transfer coeff is automatically solved by fluent f(Re,Pr).
