Default Gambit Grid

Ive made a 2d grid in gambit. There are some zones where the mesh needs to be very fine, and others where it is coarse. Ive used the boundary layer option to coarsen it, but that doesnt always work. Ive also place one edge on top of the other and given them different spacings. When I import the mesh into fluent it creates more zones. Im not sure why. It even defines one of the extra edges as a wall. Is there anything else i need to do for this type of grid? Thanks

Hello

It seems the use of virtual edge for this work is better, if you don't use it.
