atomizer

I want to modeling spray of fluid from atomizer. I know that the flow regime in the atomizer is turbolence. I want to model this case by "VOF" and use the K-Epsilon standard model in the FLUENT package. But I dont know what kind of "Turbulence Specification Method"is used in this case and what value should be assigned to their parameters in the inlet and outlet of atomizer :

"K & Epsilon" or "Intensity & Lenght Scale" or "Intensity & viscosity Ratio" or "Intensity & Hydraulic Diameter"

Thanks for your helps

Re: atomizer

Hello

Why do you use DPM(Discrete phase model) instead of VOF, because DPM creates atomizer automatically.

Re: atomizer

hello mr. "Hadi Meshkati" thanks for your response

Because this case of atomization is doing in the free air (atomosphere) and the inlet air around the atomizer is not exist I can not use DPM. inlet gas from around of atomizer is necessary condition for using DPM in fluent.(section"21.1.3" of FLUENT6.1 HELP) It should be noted that bondary condition used in the inlet and outlet of atomizer are "pressure inlet" and "pressure outle"
