first of all hi! I'm working on effect of distance on Natural convection between horizontal plates that are open ended and heated from below. can you tell me what are my inlet , outlet and side boundaries. what should i enter for them (like velocity inlet, pressure outlet...)? I'm looking for your messages. thx.

create two plates inside a big box hanging in air!!! The BC for this box would be pressure inlet and temp. and fluent would generate the velocity once you have density difference due to buoyancy...

dear ashu !
i've some problems again while i was solving my problem.hope you mind helping me! my problem is i couldn't generate my mesh between my parallel plates that i'm working with. can you tell me step by step the procedure to generate mesh between 2 parallel plates with GAMBIT (if you know)!. as my problem is not an enclosure (so not a volume)GAMBIT doesn't generate mesh between my plates ( or surely i couldn't manage to generate it ). hope to see your and the other peoples messages for my problem. PS:if any one make a gambit case about this problem please contact me and if possible send me! |
