If you don't know how to write an udf, you should first read Fluent UDF documentation to get the idea what you can do with udfs. There is a lot of examples, tutorials and other usefull stuff to read. If you allready have a udf and don't know how to put it Fluent you should go to Define-User Define-functions-iterpreted...then you select your function and it becomes a part of Fluent. If you (for example) make a udf velocity you have to select your function at velocity inlet bc... but read the manual for more info. Why do you need a udf? Usually (for simpler simualtions) you don't need to use it. Hope I helped... MATEUS

If I understand correctly you want to calculete the grashoff number from a converged solution (you take the temperature and velocity) and then use the result in some equation that defines the new bounary condition. Am I right. I think you can do this with an udf. Check out the documentation, for example: http://www.engr.subr.edu/Support/flu...df/node206.htm have fun MATEUS
