Hello, i have a problem meshing my sails in gambit, iīm studing it lilke a infinite thin layer, like a membrane. The problem is how can i mesh my sails without making with it a volume, i explain it better. My control volume can`t contain a 2d form becouse i cant substrate a 2d from a 3d form, thatīs why i have to do volume whit my sails. Iīm asking for other way to do it beacouse doin a volume can be dificult with some sailīs forms.

Thanks

Hi!

Why don't you construct your domain from more then one volume. For example. Volume in frot of the sail, volume behind the sail (these two shere 1 face - your sail geometry defined ac wall bc) and four more volumes on each side of the sail. This should work for you.
