Default Intermediate boundary conditions

hi,

I am modelling a 2D tank with an entry and an exit. The width of the tank increases, due to it, the velocity of the water inside the tank diminishes but this variation does not appear in my simulation because it's a 2D tank.

Is it possible to force the velocity in an intermediate zone of the tank? Or I need to study each zone (with different velocities) separately?

thank you
