Boundary between two adjacent fluid faces!
 

Hi, This is a very simple question, but I am new to CFD and FLuent. I have made a 2D towing tank in Gambit, and I am setting the fluid regions, and the boundaries. I have multiple adjacent faces, some structured and some unstructured, and they all have the same fluid. In the actual model I want it to be seen as one piece. Do I need to set a boundary for the edges between the two faces, or if I do not set anything it will assume it is continuous if the two faces are both set be fluid regions? Thanks

You only need one edge to share both faces for the fuid to move between the two. Otherwise Gambit will create a wall. Use the connect edges command.

It is one edge between each face. I was just wondering if I need to set the edge as some boundary, or just leave it. From what you say, it seems to me gambit sees it as continuous, which is what I want.
