Hi I try to define periodic boubaries for my geometry which is 60 degree section of a gas turbine combustor. I meshed my geometry by means of linked faces meshing. Now I am trying to make periodic zones with text interface and it asks me about shadow zones.could you please give me some information about shadow zone? regards

Hi,

You don't need to take seriously. The shadow is only treated internally in FLUENT. So there is no special meaning.

Thanks
