Joining Files in Gambit

Hello I have got different Gambit Files. Each with a geometry I need for a new project. How can I join the data from three different files in one gambit file?

Hope you understand and thanks for helping.

you shoule export one of files as a ACIS file. open your second dbs geometry and import the acis file.

Thanks for your answer. I tried, but Gambit exports only three faces, not the whole geometry. Or do I have to remove the mesh? jens

you can only join the geometry with this method. I don't know a method for joining mesh too. If anyone has an idea i will be happy to hear it. MM

Re: Joining Files in Gambit

hello

I tried to import the mesh. Export Mesh and than import mesh.

it works. you can import the mesh data and Gambit knows all geometry data including faces and volumes.
