Hello,
I am planning to perform a 3-D Large Eddy simulation on a helium jet injected into ambient air environment. The flow is incompressible, isothermal and unsteady. The jet flow is initially laminar and flow transition to turbulence only takes place at around 3 diameters from the jet exit plane. So can LES simulate all the three regions of flow i.e laminar, transition region and fully turbulent region. Thanks in advance. Rajani |
