CJBright is on a distinguished road
Hi everybody, I'm a 3rd year mechanical engineering student currently doing a dissertation on Silverson mixers and through using CFD and MRF simulations I am supposed to simulate various power-law model emulsions through the mixer.

I have been provided 4 constituent files for the mixer - an inner and outer rotor and an inner and outer stator and the files are GAMBIT.neu files.

I have a little experience using STAR-CMM+ for MRF simulations but the files don't seem to open properly within that software for an unknown reason. They read as only 4 vector coordinate when in reality there are tens of thousands of data points within each file.
Using Fluent the files are able to be opened however I can only open them 1 at a time and I am completely lost when it comes to setting up an MRF simulation with the files and making them interact.

If anybody could offer any guidance on either of my problems or lead me in the direction of some further reading that would be much appropriated as the deadline is closing in fast!

Thanks in advance,
Charlie
