Hi;
What pressure interpolation scheme is better for cavitating flow analysis. I use second order for momentume, turbulence equations, volume fraction and... Should I increase mass fraction of non-condensable gas to obtain cavitation cloud shedding? Is low under relaxation for vaporization mass(=.2) affected on shedding frequency? Thanks |

Hi!
It looks ok. You use time step 5*10^-5s - thats also ok, maybe a little to big (try it with 2*10^-5 s). your convergence criterium should be at least 10^-4. Don't use underrelaxation smaller than 0.2. What's your geometry? Are you working in 3D or 2D? Regards MATEUS |

The mass fraction should be in region between 0.00001 and 0.00005. I guess that the default should work fine. MATEUS |

Hi; I want to model cloud cavitation arround naca0015 and steady sheet cavitation arround naca0012 in 2D. How can I get a converged solution with steady modeling? The Y+ in cavity region is very low, it's one of my problems. What should I do?
