Hi All,

I am an undergraduate student from the Univesity of H.K , Currently i am using Fluent 6.0 for my studies, but i have problem in the porous medium formulation in fluent. That is, For a cylindrical cylinder (400mm height, 300mm diameter) that the whole volume is modeled as a porous zone, how to set the direction vector for that whole volume ? as there is only 2 direction vectors that can be set in a 3D model Case.

The remaining unspecified vector is normal to the plane formed by the first two. So if you specify one vector in x-directionas (1,0,0), one vector in y-direction as (0,1,0), the unspecified vector becomes automatically (0,0,1)
