How do I increase Drag

Dear Sir,

I am trying to simulate Single Phase and Gas Solid flow through a straight pipe using Fluent.

I have tried all combinations of drag laws and viscous models but I always get the pressure drop less than the experimental value.

What could be the possible problem? (Pr Drop even in single phase (air) pipe flow is less than the exp value.

Please help me out.

Thankyou.

Hi, you can try to increase the size of your solid particles.

Thankyou, But I am trying to simulate a graph given in a text book to verify my results. This would be first step in my project.

By the way, Pr drop is less even in a simple straight pipe flow.
