i am a user of fluent 6 and gambit 2. i want to model a intake that have no cone and work with a single normal shock. i want capture normal shock in enterance of intake. please help me thabks bye

try a simple axisymmetric geometry at first. use an inviscid approach to solve the problem, with the coupled solver. set the Mach number and pressure and temp at the inlet, the outlet must be pressure based. if the outflow condition is completely supersonic then the pressure value speified will be ignored and the variables will ne extrapolated from the interior of the domain.
