HEllo: Could someone tell me, which are the references (nodes or elemnts) which appear when you select a boundary condition printed in the file?

Ex:

Name_surface 19123 6 3 19843 6 2

Im afraid is the node number, but i dont know what are the other numbers.

Thanks

Hi,

Neutral file format is a bit complicated. But it is not hard to resolve,

-->the first number (19123) is the number of the element -->the second number (6) is the type of the element, 6 corresponds to tetrahedral elements -->the third number (2) is the number of the face which lies on the boundary

Gambit users guide, chapter C explains the neutral file format. you had better read it deeply. Later on i want to discuss some more issues with you, since once i had trouble with .neu file..

Regards

emre
