two phase flow

Hi all,

I've a question concerning the two phase flow in a cyclone system. The flow consists of air and small water droplets and I want to determine the seperation rate under transient conditions. The result should a conclusiuon about how much (ml) will be removed from the system after 60 seconds. Is it possible to handle this kind of problem with Fluent ?

thx

Re: two phase flow

Hi,

Yes, you can do it.

How about the volume fraction of water?.

If it's less than 10%, DPM unsteady tracking is suitable.

More than 10%, Mixuture Model is suitable and time is unsteady.

Thanks

FJ
