how to slove PDE in Fluent

Dear everyone,

I want to solve the following equations about K and epsilon in Fluent 6.1. I don't know if I can or how to solve. I am very appreciated for your help. The equations are:

d((k^2/epsilon)x(dk/dz))/dz + k^2 x z^(-0.67)/epsilon - epsilon = 0 --------(1)

d(d(epsilon)/dz)/dz + 0.0015 k x z^(-0.67) - 1.92 x epsilon^2/k = 0 -----------------------(2)

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Zwdi

Need I use UDS in fluent to solve these two equations? Hope someone give me some hightlighting. Thanks.

Best,

Hi;

Yes, I think that you should use UDS. You can add any generic transport equation to other defult equations of software.

Bye.
