Dear Arthur,

I think it will be easy if r able to convert the Mach Number in terms of Velocity in m/s so that you can specify the velocity itself, I am not so familiar with 5.3 version, this is one of the option.

Thank you Khrisna.

I already tried your suggestion, but thre is a problem, when it iterating, the result become divergent, it indicates there are shockwave. Is it true that Fluent can't simulate shockwave???

HI! DO NOT SAY THAT AGAIN !!!!!!!! firstly to see shocks, study the flow around a simple curved object, or the flow in a converging nozzle. better do the first one. Far away from the foil apply FAR-FIELD BOUNDARY CONDITIONS with 101325 pressure, Mach=1.8 Set OPERATING CONDITIONS TO 0 from 101325 and run inviscid model. For the airfoil use no slip conditions (WALL).you will see the shocks. I am writing papers with Fluent on Hypersonic flow if you want anything contact good luck!
