Hi all,

My case is 3D unsteady. For converge reason, I want to begin my calculations using a previously-converged flow field solution, and before iteration, I have to patch something like volume fraction of a phase. So my question is how to put it into practice in unsteady case. Thank you!

Hi.. u give some initial value by using patched cells.U just change steady to unsteady. Solve for the equations u want to solve. The setting of initial value to the variable like temperature makes ur solution to converge fast. Kethireddy...RWTH-Aachen..Germany
