How to simulate Re=6000 circular cylinder wake

The major problem is that I donot know which turbulent model to select and how to set boundary conditions.

I got the right result for low Re problem which doesnot use viscous model.

Appreciate your advice.

Hi; Fundamentally RNG k-e model with a non-equilibrium wall function is a very good model to capture a wake with correct length. This model is robust and computationally tractaible. To get a converged solution, a grid with good quality should be used.

Hi, Roozbeh,

Thank you so much. I will try it and maybe seek for your help later.
