Hi, I am using fluent for my problem. I am running both 2d and 3d cases. I am connecting my system to our computer centre where only 20 licenses will be available at a time. If all licenses filled we cannot connect fluent to cc. My problem comes with this limited licenes only. Some times I have to shift from 2d-fluent to 3d-fluent. For this some time will required. In this mean time some body will connect fluent, and I am not able to connect to the Computer Center. I want to shift from 2d-fluent to 3d-fluent and vice versa without closing and again opening the fluent. Can any one tell me how to shift from 2d-fluent to 2d-fluent without closing and again opening the fluent.

Thank you

Dont close your Fluent Window after your are done with the 2d simulation. When you are done with the 2d case, just save it (case and data) and then open your 3d case&data file using the read case&data menu.
