Heat Transfer&boundary condition

Hi! I need Help. An electric heater works in a room. It's temperature very high. Thickness of room Walls are 30(cm)and in the Outside of the room temperatre is -20(c) what is the Boumdary type of room wall? How can I calculate Heat Flux from Inside of the room to the Outside? thanks

Re: Heat Transfer&boundary condition

Use convection BC with either htc bc with hemperature or temperature on the wall. First one will be more realistic. From air velocity around the room you know that whether its forced convection or natural convection problem.... Flux can be calculated on any wall by fluent. You have to check whther there is good energy convergence!!!

Hi; Thanks AJ because of you'r answer. A fan works in the room, then Fluent should find flow field and temperature field. Then I should apply Thermal Boundary condition to the room walls.Which Boundary condition I should use?
