Hello,
The problem to be solved is that sand slurry was pumped into a water pond. The distribution of sand is of interest. In reality, the sand slurry was dumped into the pond directly from a pipe 0.5 m off from the water surface. I used the Velocit-Inlet BC for the surface where the sand slurry was dumped, and use Pressure-Outlet for the left area of the top water surface. The problem is that I can not start up the simulation and error message shows up telling me that divergence occurs for the continuity equation. The backflow occurs in the Pressure-Outlet boundary. I guess the problem is due to the Pressure-Outlet boundary. Anybody can tell me which kind of boundary is suitable for the problem that I want to solve. Thanks, Fing |
