I failed to preview mesh motion when I used the dynamic mesh model for my 3D case.I set the step size=T/10000=0.0001s .But after one step,Preview-Dynamic-Mesh failed because negative cell volume detected.So I reset the stepsize=0.00001s,after 10 steps,it quit too.

I am sure that my udf is ok because it works well in 2d case.

Could you give me any suggestions especially about the mesh?

First of all I hope the mesh is fine enough. 1.Check with size function variationand size function rate in remeshing. 2.Also try varying No. of iteration in Smoothing. I hope this will help u
